Malaysian Students Win NACS-BPGN Creative Content Creation Competition 2025 Promoting Anti-Corruption Awareness

Thirteen student groups participated in the NACS-BPGN Creative Content Creation Competition 2025, with winners receiving cash prizes at a ceremony in Putrajaya on September 20, 2025. The collaborative initiative by the National Governance Planning Division (BPGN), Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) used digital media to promote integrity, accountability, and transparency among youth.

Key Details

The creative content creation competition was launched in October 2024 with the aim of nurturing creativity while promoting anti-corruption awareness and integrity among youth. Supported by a special grant, student participants were challenged to produce innovative and impactful digital content highlighting corruption-related issues.

After rigorous evaluation by BPGN representatives, ten groups advanced to the final stage. The prize-giving ceremony featured Mdm. Shamina Ali, Head of Sector, Anti-Corruption Initiative Sector, alongside Mdm. Nor Rafidah Lokman, Assistant Director of the same sector, presenting awards to winners.

Competition winners include:

  • First Prize: Hakimi bin Shamsul Amree, Asyraf Irsyad bin Mohd Fadli, Adam Rossardi bin Roslan, Ahmad Azmiel Arif bin Ismail (Supervisor: Mr. Yusran Mazalan)
  • Second Prize: Harith Danial Bin Mohd Saifulizan, Muhammad Faris Fiqran Bin Muhamad (Supervisor: Mdm. Rosnani Abdul Rahman)
  • Third Prize: Muhammad Danish Bin Mohd Fairuz, Farliyana Amylea Binti Anuar (Supervisor: Mr. Badrolhisham Hashim)
  • Three teams received special awards with various supervisors
  • Ts. Dr. Heidi Tan Yeen-Ju, Deputy Dean of Academic & Innovative Learning, FCM, attended the ceremony

Background & Context

The initiative served as a platform for students to use digital media as a tool for positive change through education and innovation. Anti-corruption education programs have become increasingly important in Malaysia’s efforts to build transparency and accountability among young citizens.

The competition represents a growing trend of using creative multimedia approaches to address social issues. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission continues to support educational initiatives that engage youth in integrity-building activities through various collaborative programs.
