Have you ever wondered how international academic partnerships truly impact the quality of higher education? At Universitas Trisakti’s Faculty of Economics and Business, a significant milestone unfolded as they welcomed a distinguished visitor to evaluate their groundbreaking sustainability management program.
MASUDEM Quality Assessment Visit Strengthens Sustainability Management at Universitas Trisakti
On Monday, November 3rd, 2025, the Master of Management (MM) program at Universitas Trisakti’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB USAKTI) hosted a pivotal quality assessment visit. This evaluation focused on the Master in Sustainability Development and Management (MASUDEM) program and its contributions to strengthening the MM program’s sustainability concentration.
Distinguished International Collaboration Takes Center Stage
The faculty warmly welcomed Dr. Rita Takacs, PhD, from ELTE University Hungary, to the 7th floor of Building D. Her visit represented a crucial component of the ongoing partnership between Indonesian and European institutions in advancing sustainability education.
Meanwhile, the opening ceremony was led by FEB Dean Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita, MM, demonstrating the university’s commitment to this international collaboration. The event brought together key academic leaders, including Vice Dean 1 Dr. Husna, Vice Dean 4 Prof. Dr. Asep Hermawan for Quality Assurance, along with MM program heads, faculty members, students, alumni, and advisory board members representing sustainability practitioners.
MASUDEM Program: Three Years of Academic Excellence
This quality assessment visit serves as an essential evaluation component for the MASUDEM (Master in Sustainability Development and Management) program, which operates as part of the prestigious Erasmus program initiative. As a result, the program has been running successfully for three years, with 2025 marking its third year of operation.
The international collaboration through MASUDEM has provided invaluable contributions to the development of Universitas Trisakti’s Master of Management program. For example, this partnership has enhanced the curriculum’s focus on sustainable development practices and management strategies that align with global standards.
Looking Forward: Continued Partnership and Growth
The university administration expressed strong hopes that these activities will continue to flourish and further strengthen cooperation between participating institutions. Furthermore, the assessment visit aims to measure how effectively the MASUDEM contributions have enhanced the MM program’s sustainability concentration.
The event successfully brought together diverse stakeholders, including current master’s and doctoral students specializing in sustainability, creating a comprehensive evaluation environment that reflects the program’s real-world impact.
This quality assessment visit represents more than just an evaluation—it’s a testament to how international academic partnerships can elevate educational standards and create meaningful pathways for sustainability leadership. As Universitas Trisakti continues to strengthen its sustainability management offerings through the MASUDEM program, students and faculty alike benefit from world-class expertise and global perspectives that will shape the next generation of sustainable business leaders.
