Yang Mulia Danial Azizan, Country Head of Google for Education for Malaysia and Brunei, led a delegation to Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) for a courtesy visit held at the university’s Amethyst room. The Google team included Yang Mulia Olivia Basrin, Regional Leader of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, and Yang Mulia Sze Mei, Higher Education Adoption Lead.

UTB’s senior leadership welcomed the delegation, with Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB, leading the university’s representation. Other UTB officials present included Yang Mulia Dr Mohamad Saiful bin Hj Omar, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (External and Industry Relations), Yang Mulia Dr Ena Kartina binti Hj Abd Rahman, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs), and Dr Fadzliwati binti Mohiddin, Director of Corporate Communications Office.

The visit aimed to introduce the Google for Education team to UTB and to discuss opportunities for collaboration, particularly in support of Brunei’s education sector. The delegation also shared their initiatives and commitment to advancing digital education transformation in the country.
