The Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) at UiTM Puncak Alam organized “FBM Beyond the Bridge: An Afternoon with Industry” as a strategic platform to bridge academia and industry collaboration. Professor Datuk Ts. Dr. Shahrin bin Sahib @ Sahibuddin, UiTM’s Vice-Chancellor, officiated the programme.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussain Ismail, Director of the Industry Network Centre under the Office of Industry, Community and Alumni Network, attended alongside FBM management and industry representatives from 42 organizations spanning multiple sectors.

Participating companies included major financial institutions such as Maybank, Bank Rakyat, and Affin Bank Berhad. Retail and hospitality sectors were represented by Valiram Group and Boustead Hotels & Resorts Sdn. Bhd. Technology firms included Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, Ericsson Malaysia, and Adaptive Tech Sdn. Bhd.
