ASEAN University Network Summer Camp 2025 Concludes at Universiti Brunei Darussalam
The Second ASEAN University Network (AUN) Summer Camp 2025 officially concluded June 26 with a closing ceremony at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, celebrating two weeks of immersive learning and cross-cultural exchange on sustainability and regional development. Yang Mulia Puan Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, officiated the ceremony.

Hosted by Universiti Brunei Darussalam under Vice Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle’s leadership, the programme brought together 163 university representatives and students from 38 universities across ASEAN University Network and ASEAN+3 University Network member institutions. The two-week camp operated under the theme “Green Stewardship: Preserving Biodiversity and Advancing Sustainable Development.”
Participants engaged in experiential learning activities including thematic workshops, interactive lectures, field visits, and collaborative design projects designed to bridge theory and practice while fostering leadership, problem-solving, and intercultural competencies.

The Future Ocean Changemakers Youth Forum 2025 offered a platform for discussions on ocean conservation and the blue economy, highlighting emerging career opportunities and global priorities in marine sustainability. The programme supported the advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 13, 14, and 15.
